I was born in Woodstock, Ontario and live in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I have a diploma in Art from Central Technical School in Toronto, a degree in Visual Art from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario and have completed the BC Provincial Instructor's Diploma.

I study Art, among other things.

I make oil paintings on small wood panels at the moment, but have also worked with watercolour, acrylic, pastel, ink, graphite and printmaking.

I've done a little performance art and some installation work.

I have had several solo exhibitions in BC and Ontario.

I made line drawings for "Sammy Sulmouse", a children's book, and "Hangdog Reef" and "Haul-Out" by the American poet Stephen Tudor.

I illustrated a book of poetry by Lynda Curnoe, titled "Toronto/London/London/Toronto", published by Lyricalmyrical, Toronto.

I have been teaching painting and drawing for many years, currently at the West Vancouver Seniors Centre and a basic acrylic painting course for the Capilano College continuing education department.

I also have private students.

I taught courses in drawing and painting, art appreciation, colour theory and concepts in creative thinking.

I produced several "Creative Artist in Schools" projects for the Ontario Arts Council.

I know that I began every sentence with the word "I", just like the book said not to.

I like that.
