Abstract Painting
Gain a thorough grounding in abstract painting, and explore formal and historical issues associated with it. Each session features a slide show of examples, and you'll develop papintings based on a particular aspect of abstraction. Beginners are welcome as are more experienced painters who want to better understand this unique way of thinking and working. Supply list available on website.

Basic Acrylic Painting
A hands-on introduction to the pleasures of acrylic painting: explore the craft's specific materials, methods and techniques. Composition, colour, tone, textures, special effects and mixed media ar covdered, through lectures, demos, hand-outs and one-on-one instruction. You will have an opportunity to choose some of your own subject matter. A supply list is available on the website.

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain
This drawing course is based on research about how our brains function and has been proven to be very effective in helping kick start creativity and improve drawing ability. Students work through a series of exercises that will have them seeing the workd in a way that leads to drwing with more precision. Students who learn with this method are able to draw anything, from life, and from Photos.
This course is suitable for all levels.
Bring a sketchbook, a range of 'B' pencils and an eraser to class.
